III. Safety Precautions
1. Batteries store significant electrical energy. Short circuits are strictly prohibited. It is recommended to install a slow-blow fuse (sized according to the controller's rated current, e.g., 15A) in the circuit.
2. Batteries may release flammable gases. Keep away from open flames, ensure proper ventilation, and avoid short circuits at terminals. Use insulated tools when handling connections.
3. Keep children away from batteries and the controller.
4. Follow the safety recommendations of the battery manufacturer.
5. Do not mount the controller directly on metal brackets during installation to avoid interference and ensure proper insulation.

V. Operation & Settings
1. System Start: After correct connections and sufficient sunlight, the OLED screen lights up and the controller begins MPPT charging.
2. Setting Charging Voltage: Press and hold both "+" and "-" buttons simultaneously to enter voltage setting mode. Use "+" and "-" to adjust the charging voltage according to your battery type (refer to the charging voltage table in the manual). The setting is saved automatically after a few seconds.
3. Display Information: The OLED cycles through PV voltage, PV current, PV power, battery voltage, charging current, temperature, and accumulated energy (kWh).
4. Reset: If the system malfunctions, press the "Reset" button to restart the controller.
VI. Wiring Recommendations
1. Connect the solar panel first: positive (+) to the solar input "+" terminal, negative (-) to solar input "-" terminal. Then connect the battery: positive (+) to battery output "+", negative (-) to battery output "-". Ensure correct polarity.
2. It is recommended to install switches between the solar panel and controller, and between the battery and controller for safe installation and maintenance.
3. Keep wiring as short as possible to minimize energy loss and voltage drop.
VII. Usage Suggestions
1. Do not exceed the maximum input power: 400W for 18V panels, 800W for 36V panels. For multiple panels, connect in series or parallel appropriately while staying within the voltage and current limits.
2. Install the controller in a well-ventilated area to ensure proper heat dissipation. Avoid direct sunlight and moisture.
3. For battery longevity, ensure the battery is fully charged at least once a month. The system design should allow sufficient solar energy to meet load demands and fully charge the battery.
4. Use the recommended fuse rating (15A slow-blow). Never replace a fuse with a wire or higher-rated fuse.
